Due to the fact that the decision to hold the first Beuerlein’s Pro Fitness Academy (BPFA) was not made until the early part of 2008, it has been determined that we did not give ourselves the necessary time to present the product we had envisioned. Rather than go through with the academy knowing that our end product was not consistent with our vision for both our sponsors and participants, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the camp dates scheduled for late July and early August of this year. All registered participants will have their tuition reimbursed immediately. I still firmly believe in the concept of the BPFA and feel that this decision will allow us to fully focus on getting every aspect of the academy in place for our debut next summer. We will be better prepared in every way as a result of this decision. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause from a summer planning standpoint. I have 4 children of my own and understand that scheduling is very tricky at times! Considering all options, I still believe this is the correct decision. Thank you in advance for your understanding and I hope we have the opportunity to earn your trust by providing a better than expected experience for next year! Sincerely, Steve Beuerlein Owner - BPFE What: A one-week long summer camp for 8-14 year olds hosted by former Panthers QB Steve Beuerlein. Who: All boys and girls 8-14 are welcome. him. Mission Statement: Beuerlein’s Pro Fitness Academy strives to engage the youth of the greater Charlotte area and to challenge them to improve their overall fitness levels. In order to improve their overall fitness levels, it is important that our youth understand that good fitness is not achieved by accident. It happens after a plan is put in place and then executed. Beuerlein’s Pro Fitness Academy will show campers how to implement a plan based on nutrition, education, proper training, commitment, and enthusiasm. It will be enjoyable for the kids and satisfying to their parents to know that positive, life long lessons are being learned.
